Theatre Club

Theatre Club is an innovative arts project offering creativity and diversity to local children, initially made possible by Camden EAZ funding.

Theatre Club is for year 5 students and takes place on Saturday morning's in Rise Phoenix's theatre space - providing arts activities that are separate from, yet complimentary to the school curriculum. Participants are given the opportunity to explore their personal identity through a variety of mediums, including video, drama, street dance, acrobatics, rap poetry and percussion music.

Guest artists, performers and practitioners lead a series of one-off workshops in their area of specialisation. The workshops create the possibility for participants to develop focus and self-confidence through exploration of the imagination and artistic self-expression.

Theatre Club continues to provide opportunities to young people, who may not otherwise have access to the arts, to explore the 3 C's - Creative, Cultural and Contemporary theatre arts.
