Inspired by the activism of her Russian immigrant grandparents, instilling the importance of giving back to the community.  She reflects on her role of being a force of good in the world, spawning from the strengths of a traumatic past. She shares the synchronicities that aligned after getting laid off and the opportunities that led her into a new direction to start her own radio show. We also discuss her connection in the community arts, such as spoken word and poetry slams as a form of healing.
