This week's guest on Inner Monologue is an Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapist, Keith Fandry PT, DPT and Director of Back in Action Pain Therapy. Keith is one of the three primary therapists who helped nurse me back to recovery after back surgery. He is a renaissance man who also has a passion for riding motor cross, building guitars and helping heal those who suffer from physical pain or injury. Keith's interest in health started as a child while watching his younger brother suffer from asthma. He learned from an early age about the faults of the healthcare system and this inspired him to take a more holistic approach to physical recovery.

This week on Inner Monologue we have the guest Marcia Epstein, host of radio show Talk With Me and trauma counselor in Kansas. Inspired by the activism of her Russian immigrant grandparents, instilling the importance of giving back to the community.  She reflects on her role of being a force of good in the world, spawning from the strengths of a traumatic past. She shares the synchronicities that aligned after getting laid off and the opportunities that led her into a new direction to start her own radio show. We also discuss her connection in the community arts, such as spoken word and poetry slams as a form of healing.
