This week's guest on Inner Monologue is Cheyenne Gaines. Cheyenne shares her honest, compassionate and raw journey with depression at a young age.  With the support of her mother, she exposes what it was like to grow up with depression and rage and how to seek help to manage it all. We discuss what it was like to handle the changes one goes through in puberty and high school and how to manage that intense period of life.  She shares her story of triumph in finding ways to live with mental health issues and seeking natural medicine modalities to support her depression and state of mind.

This week's guest on Inner Monologue is friend and personal wizard, Shawn Daukarus.  Shawn and I met in film school in 2007 and was a grounding anchor for me during my cross country bicycle tour of 2012.  Shawn's journey begins with an existential crisis at the age of 10. Eventually his love for eastern philosophy and his martial arts practice led him to the power of awareness.
