This week's guest on Inner Monologue is owner and operator of Move Tribe, Katherine Howard. She shares the origins of her vision for Move Tribe, a passion project of teaching movement classes to embrace your body and gain confidence. Her inspiration is to make dance movement more accessible to all. We discuss physical limitations and mental limitations such as fears and anxieties in the freedom of movement. We share how we can hold ourselves back and give up on our passions through our own limitations. She also shares her experience of living the dream in New York City as a dancer and the realities she faced in the big apple with the pressures of body image and her healing journey to love her form. ​

This week's guest on Inner Monologue is Keena Jones, Language and Historian Technician. She shares her experience of devastating grief after her mother's death.  She uncovers the journey of the four years where she fell into a dark depression.  We discuss the realizations she had to make conscious decisions to heal and bring joy back into her life.  She reflects on the tools she acquired in learning meditation and other alternative methods. It wasn't until a Pacific Northwest road trip where she discovered a transcendental ceremony that allowed her to finally revive her happiness.
